Nissan Micra K11 4-2-1 Performance Exhaust Manifold

Our Nissan Micra K11 Performance Manifold is a fully TIG-welded stainless steel 4-2-1 exhaust manifold, designed as a direct replacement for the restrictive factory manifold.

The 4-2-1 configuration is designed to favour low and mid-range performance, making it particularly well suited to road cars and daily-driven Micras where usable performance throughout the RPM range is more important than concentrating gains towards the very top end.

Each manifold is TIG welded and fully back purged during fabrication, helping to produce clean internal welds and improve long-term reliability.

Supplied with the required link pipe for installation and available in configurations to suit vehicles both with and without factory air conditioning.

4-2-1 vs 4-1 – What's the Difference?

The main difference between a 4-2-1 and 4-1 manifold is where in the RPM range they are designed to perform best.

A 4-2-1 manifold combines the four exhaust runners into two before merging into a single outlet. This design generally produces a broader powerband with stronger low and mid-range performance, making it the better choice for daily-driven, fast-road and general performance builds.

A 4-1 manifold merges all four runners into a single collector and is generally better suited to higher RPM performance, where outright top-end power is the priority. This makes a 4-1 more appropriate for highly tuned, competition or track-focused engines that spend more of their time at higher engine speeds.

For most naturally aspirated road-going K11s, we recommend the 4-2-1 design as it provides a more usable improvement throughout the RPM range without sacrificing performance for the sake of peak power.

Installation of this manifold removes the factory catalytic converter.

Depending on the vehicle, local emissions requirements and applicable laws, removal of the catalytic converter may make the vehicle unsuitable or illegal for use on public roads and may result in failure of an MOT, TÜV or equivalent vehicle inspection.

This product is therefore intended for off-road, motorsport, competition, development or testing purposes only where permitted by applicable law.
