This version is equipped with Pillow Ball joints, making it the more performance-focused option compared with the Hardened Rubber version.

Why Fit Adjustable Rear Arms?

Lowering a K11 changes more than simply the distance between the chassis and the ground.

Changes in suspension position can also alter the rear wheel geometry, potentially leaving the vehicle with undesirable camber or toe settings.

The standard fixed suspension arms provide limited ability to compensate for these changes.

Adjustable rear arms allow the geometry to be corrected and then set according to the vehicle's ride height, tyre choice and intended use.

Pillow Ball vs Hardened Rubber

We offer Hardrace K11 adjustable rear arms in both Hardened Rubber and Pillow Ball configurations.

Hardened Rubber

Recommended for road and fast-road vehicles where improved suspension control is required while retaining a reasonable level of isolation from noise, vibration and harshness.

Pillow Ball

Recommended for more performance-focused vehicles where suspension precision and feedback take priority over refinement.

Pillow Ball joints minimise the compliance associated with conventional rubber bushes, providing a more immediate response to suspension movement.

The trade-off is that additional noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) may be transmitted into the vehicle.

For a predominantly road-driven K11, the Hardened Rubber version may be the better compromise.

For a serious fast-road, track or competition K11, the Pillow Ball version provides the more direct setup.

Warranty coverage does not include normal wear, deterioration through use, contamination, corrosion caused by inadequate maintenance, accident or impact damage, incorrect installation, modification, incorrect adjustment or damage caused by surrounding suspension components.

Increased noise, vibration and harshness associated with the use of Pillow Ball suspension joints is an inherent characteristic of the design and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
