The Hardrace Adjustable Rear Lateral Arm Kit provides a comprehensive rear suspension geometry upgrade for the Nissan Micra / March K11.

Supplied as a complete 4-piece set, the arms provide adjustment for both rear toe and camber, making them particularly useful on lowered K11s where changes in ride height can move the rear suspension geometry away from the desired settings.

Unlike the more competition-focused pillow-ball version, this kit uses Hardrace Hardened Rubber Bushes, providing increased suspension control while retaining better isolation from noise and vibration for road and fast-road applications.

Why Adjustable Rear Arms?

Lowering a vehicle changes more than simply the distance between the body and the ground.

As suspension ride height changes, the geometry of the rear suspension also changes. This can leave the vehicle with undesirable camber or toe settings which cannot necessarily be corrected using the standard fixed suspension arms.

The Hardrace adjustable arm kit allows the rear geometry to be adjusted to better suit the vehicle's new ride height and intended use.

Camber Adjustment

Camber describes the inward or outward inclination of the wheel when viewed from the front or rear of the vehicle.

Lowered vehicles can develop increased negative camber as a result of the change in suspension position.

The adjustable arms allow the rear camber to be corrected or deliberately adjusted according to the requirements of the vehicle.

Toe Adjustment

Toe describes the direction in which the wheels point relative to the centreline of the vehicle when viewed from above.

Even relatively small changes in rear toe can have a significant effect on vehicle stability, handling characteristics and tyre wear.

The Hardrace kit provides the adjustment required to correctly set the rear toe rather than simply accepting the geometry produced by the lowered ride height.

Hardened Rubber Bushes

This version uses Hardrace Hardened Rubber Bushes rather than pillow-ball joints.

The uprated rubber bushes reduce unwanted movement compared with softer, ageing factory bushes while retaining a degree of isolation from road noise, vibration and harshness.

This makes the hardened-rubber version particularly well suited to road, fast-road and occasional track applications where improved suspension control is wanted without moving to a fully spherical-jointed setup.

As with any suspension component on a vehicle of this age, we recommend checking the existing suspension configuration before ordering where the car has previously been modified or converted.

Professional Installation & Alignment Required

Professional installation by a suitably qualified technician is strongly recommended.

A full rear suspension geometry/alignment setup must be carried out after installation.

Simply fitting adjustable arms does not automatically improve the handling of the vehicle. The benefit comes from having the additional adjustment available and then setting the geometry correctly for the vehicle's ride height, tyres and intended use.

All locking hardware should be correctly tightened following adjustment and periodically inspected, particularly on vehicles used for motorsport or track driving.

Important Suspension Notice

Changes to camber and toe can significantly alter the handling characteristics of a vehicle.

Extreme geometry settings may negatively affect stability, tyre wear, braking performance and general vehicle behaviour.

For road-going vehicles, we recommend using sensible geometry settings appropriate for road use rather than pursuing extreme camber or toe purely for appearance.

Normal wear, deterioration of bushes, corrosion resulting from inadequate maintenance, accident or impact damage, incorrect installation, modification, incorrect geometry adjustment and damage caused by surrounding suspension components are not considered manufacturing defects.
