Front Upper Brace

The Front Upper Brace links the front upper suspension mounting points, helping reduce unwanted movement across the upper front chassis structure.

Increasing rigidity between these points allows the suspension to operate from a more consistent platform, improving steering and suspension feedback.

The brace is designed to clear:

• Power Steering
• ABS
• Air Conditioning
• Factory Nissan Air Box
• GA-Style Air Boxes

Clearance with heavily modified engine bays, engine conversions or alternative intake systems should be checked during installation.

Front Lower Front Brace

The Front Lower Front Brace links the front lower control arm pickup areas and reinforces one of the more flexible areas of the K11's front chassis.

Reducing movement between these suspension mounting points can provide a more positive and predictable front-end response during cornering and rapid direction changes.

⚠️ Ground Clearance

The Front Lower Front Brace sits below the lateral engine support frame.

For this reason, it may not be suitable for excessively lowered vehicles where available ground clearance is extremely limited.

The installer must check clearance to the road surface, speed bumps and other obstacles.

Front Lower Rear / Underfloor Brace

The Front Lower Rear Brace, also referred to as our Underfloor Brace, ties together the rear mounting points of the front lower control arms.

This provides additional reinforcement across the lower chassis and complements the Front Lower Front Brace by supporting another important area of the front suspension mounting structure.

The brace is designed to sit relatively tightly against the underside of the vehicle and clears the anti-roll bar.

It is also designed to clear standard and typical aftermarket exhaust systems, although unusual custom exhaust routing should always be checked during installation.

Rear Upper Brace

The Rear Upper Brace links the rear upper shock absorber mounting areas, helping increase rigidity across the rear of the K11 chassis.

The brace features adjustable/removable footplates, allowing the main cross bar to be removed without having to remove the mounting feet from the shock absorber mounting points.

This is particularly useful where access to the rear of the vehicle is still required.

⚠️ NOT A SAFETY DEVICE

The Rear Upper Brace is a chassis stiffening component only.

It is NOT:

• A Roll Cage
• A Rollover Protection Device
• A Harness Bar
• A Seat Belt Mount
• An Occupant Restraint Mount

Do not attach harnesses, seat belts or other safety equipment to the brace.

Adjustable Panhard Rod

Lowering a K11 changes the operating angle of the factory Panhard rod.

Because a Panhard rod travels through an arc as the suspension moves, changing the vehicle's resting ride height can cause the rear axle to sit laterally offset from its original position.

Our Adjustable Panhard Rod allows its effective length to be altered so the rear axle can be correctly re-centred underneath the vehicle at its new ride height.

This is particularly useful for:

• Cars Requiring Accurate Rear Axle Positioning

The Panhard rod should be adjusted with the vehicle at its final operating ride height.

Measurements should ideally be taken from reliable chassis reference points rather than relying solely on the visual relationship between the tyre and wheel arch.

A single brace can reinforce a specific area of the chassis, but the complete package addresses several of the K11's suspension mounting areas simultaneously.

The combination of upper and lower front bracing, rear bracing and adjustable rear axle positioning creates a much more comprehensive chassis setup.

Rather than attempting to make the suspension itself excessively stiff, chassis bracing aims to provide the suspension with a more consistent platform from which to operate.

Professional Installation Recommended

These components should be installed by a suitably qualified professional.

Before installation, all chassis and suspension mounting areas should be inspected for:

• Corrosion
• Cracking
• Previous Accident Damage
• Previous Repairs
• Damaged Threads
• Distortion

This is particularly important on older K11 chassis.

Following installation, all hardware should be correctly tightened and periodically inspected.

A professional wheel alignment is also recommended, particularly after adjusting the Panhard rod or carrying out other suspension modifications.

Ground clearance, suspension movement, exhaust clearance and surrounding components must be checked before the vehicle is operated.

12-Month Warranty*

GizFab-manufactured components within this kit are warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover normal bush wear, cosmetic deterioration, corrosion resulting from coating damage or inadequate maintenance, incorrect installation or adjustment, insufficient ground clearance, underbody impact damage, accident damage, modification, misuse or damage caused by defective or damaged surrounding chassis or suspension components.
