Functional Aerodynamics

Unlike a cosmetic rear spoiler, the Time Attack Wing is designed to interact with the airflow passing over the vehicle and generate aerodynamic load at the rear.

Increasing rear aerodynamic load can help improve high-speed stability and rear tyre traction, particularly during high-speed cornering.

As with any aerodynamic component, its effectiveness depends on vehicle speed, ride height, wing angle, vehicle setup and the overall aerodynamic balance of the car.

Adjustable Angle of Attack

The wing features an adjustable angle of attack, allowing its aerodynamic characteristics to be altered.

Increasing the wing angle will generally increase aerodynamic load, but will also increase aerodynamic drag. Reducing the angle can decrease both.

This allows the wing to be adjusted to find an appropriate compromise between rear stability, traction and drag for the vehicle and circuit.

Changes should be made progressively, with consideration given to the overall handling balance of the vehicle.

⚠️ Installation Requires Drilling

Installation requires permanent modification of the vehicle.

The vehicle will need to be drilled to install the wing and its mounting hardware.

Before drilling, the installer must check the position of all mounting points and ensure there is adequate clearance around wiring, trim, structural components and other parts of the vehicle.

Due to the aerodynamic forces which can be generated by a rear wing at speed, it is important that the wing is mounted securely to a suitably strong area of the vehicle.

Additional reinforcement may be required depending on the vehicle, installation method and intended use.

Professional installation is strongly recommended.

Motorsport Use

This is a performance aerodynamic component intended primarily for motorsport, competition, track and modified vehicle applications.

The installer and vehicle owner are responsible for ensuring the installation is appropriate for the intended use and complies with any applicable motorsport regulations or local vehicle legislation.

12-Month Warranty*

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from incorrect installation, inadequate mounting or reinforcement, physical impact, accident damage, misuse, modification, corrosion resulting from inadequate maintenance or use outside the intended application.

Damage to the vehicle resulting from drilling, installation, incorrect mounting or inadequate reinforcement is not covered under the product warranty.
