Nissan Micra K11 2" Decat Test Pipe

Designed and manufactured by GizFab, our Nissan Micra K11 Decat Test Pipe is a direct replacement for the factory catalytic converter fitted to early Pre-Facelift Distributor models.

Manufactured from 2" stainless steel tubing and precision TIG welded, the pipe allows the original catalytic converter section to be removed for motorsport, off-road and diagnostic applications.

Supplied complete with gaskets ready for installation.

THIS DECAT PIPE FITS PRE-FACELIFT DISTRIBUTOR K11 MODELS ONLY.

It is NOT suitable for later Facelift or Coilpack models.

Due to the age of the K11 and the number of vehicles that have undergone engine, exhaust and drivetrain changes over the years, we recommend confirming the exhaust configuration currently fitted to the vehicle rather than relying solely on its registration year.

What Does a Decat Pipe Do?

A decat pipe replaces the original catalytic converter with an unrestricted section of exhaust tubing.

The factory catalytic converter is an emissions-control device containing an internal catalyst substrate through which the exhaust gases must pass.

Replacing this section with a straight-through pipe removes that restriction from the exhaust system.

On modified vehicles, this can form part of a higher-flow exhaust system, particularly where other components such as the exhaust manifold, centre section and rear exhaust have also been upgraded.

2" Stainless Steel Construction

The test pipe is manufactured using 2" stainless steel tubing, making it particularly suitable for use alongside other performance exhaust components of a similar bore.

Each assembly is TIG welded for a clean, durable construction.

Gaskets Included

The required exhaust gaskets are supplied with the test pipe.

We recommend checking the condition of the surrounding exhaust hardware during installation and replacing any heavily corroded or damaged nuts, bolts or studs where necessary.

Professional Installation Recommended

Professional installation by a suitably qualified technician is recommended.

Before installation, the surrounding exhaust system should be inspected for:

• Damaged or Corroded Flanges
• Broken or Damaged Studs
• Exhaust Leaks
• Deteriorated Mountings
• Incorrectly Modified Exhaust Components

After installation, the complete system should be checked for exhaust leaks and adequate clearance from the bodywork, suspension, fuel system and other surrounding components.

⚠️ EMISSIONS & ROAD-USE WARNING

THIS PRODUCT REMOVES THE FACTORY PRIMARY CATALYTIC CONVERTER.

The catalytic converter is an emissions-control device fitted by the vehicle manufacturer.

Removing it can cause the vehicle to:

• Fail an emissions test
• Fail an applicable vehicle inspection
• Exceed permitted exhaust emissions
• No longer comply with its original emissions specification
• Become illegal to operate on public roads

Motorsport, Off-Road & Diagnostic Use Only

This product is intended for motorsport, off-road and legitimate diagnostic/testing applications only.

It must not be installed or used on a public-road vehicle where removal of the catalytic converter would breach applicable emissions, construction, use or inspection regulations.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser and installer to ensure that the vehicle complies with all applicable laws and regulations for the country or jurisdiction in which it is operated.

Where a test pipe is temporarily fitted for diagnostic purposes, the appropriate emissions-control equipment must be reinstated before the vehicle is returned to public-road use where legally required.

12-Month Warranty*

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover cosmetic discolouration associated with exhaust temperature, corrosion resulting from external contamination or inadequate maintenance, incorrect installation, modification, impact damage, misuse, damage caused by excessive engine movement or failure of surrounding exhaust components.

The warranty does not guarantee compliance with emissions, noise, MOT or other vehicle inspection requirements.
