Nissan Micra K11 CG Performance Inlet Manifold

Developed specifically for the factory Nissan Micra K11 CG engine range, our Performance Inlet Manifold provides a modern high-flow intake solution for naturally aspirated, turbocharged and supercharged builds.

The manifold combines 3D-printed construction with a fabricated and welded plenum, allowing the runner geometry and injector locations to be produced accurately while retaining a robust, serviceable plenum design.

It is designed around 14mm top-feed fuel injectors, is compatible with the factory K11 Coilpack fuel rail and injector arrangement, and retains compatibility with the original Nissan K11 throttle body.

Designed Specifically for the Factory CG Engine

Unlike our QG swap inlet manifold, this version has been developed specifically around the factory CG engine fitted to the Nissan Micra K11.

It provides an alternative to the original cast inlet manifold while retaining compatibility with key factory components, including the K11 throttle body and Coilpack-style fuel rail arrangement.

The manifold can be used on both:

  • Distributor / Dizzy CG Engines
  • Coilpack CG Engines

This makes it suitable for a wide range of K11 builds without requiring a completely different throttle arrangement.

3D-Printed Construction with Welded Plenum

The manifold combines modern additive manufacturing with conventional fabrication.

The main manifold section is 3D printed, allowing complex runner geometry, injector positioning and internal transitions to be incorporated directly into the design.

The plenum is then fabricated and welded to the printed manifold section.

This manufacturing method gives us considerably greater control over the internal shape of the manifold than would be possible with a simple fabricated runner-and-box-plenum design.

O-Ring Sealing

The manifold uses O-ring seals at the applicable sealing interfaces.

This provides a clean and repeatable sealing arrangement without relying solely on conventional cut gaskets.

During installation:

  • Inspect all sealing surfaces
  • Check O-rings for damage
  • Ensure O-rings are correctly seated
  • Use a suitable assembly lubricant where appropriate
  • Do not pinch or displace the O-rings during assembly

Replacement seals should always be of the correct material and dimensions for the application.

14mm Top-Feed Injector Compatibility

The manifold is designed around 14mm top-feed fuel injectors.

This gives considerably more injector choice than the original side-feed arrangement found on some K11 configurations and makes the manifold particularly useful for higher-power naturally aspirated and forced-induction builds.

Compatible with the K11 Coilpack Fuel Rail Arrangement

The injector positioning has been designed to work with the factory K11 Coilpack fuel rail and compatible 14mm top-feed injectors.

This allows customers to reuse suitable factory-style Coilpack fuel-system components rather than requiring a dedicated GizFab fuel rail.

⚠️ Fuel Rail Is NOT Included

NO FUEL RAIL IS SUPPLIED WITH THIS MANIFOLD.

The customer must provide a suitable fuel rail and injectors.

The manifold has been designed around the K11 Coilpack fuel rail arrangement, but the installer remains responsible for confirming that the actual rail, injectors and associated hardware being used are compatible.

Injector Compatibility

While the manifold is designed around a 14mm injector sealing diameter, this does not mean every 14mm injector will automatically fit.

Other important dimensions include:

  • Injector Overall Length
  • Upper and Lower Seal Position
  • Electrical Connector
  • Fuel Rail Location
  • Injector Body Diameter
  • Flow Rate
  • Fuel Compatibility

Injector flow rate must be selected around the engine specification and intended power level.

Factory K11 Throttle Body Compatibility

The manifold has been designed to retain the factory Nissan Micra K11 throttle body arrangement.

It can be used with throttle bodies from both:

  • Distributor-Equipped K11s
  • Coilpack-Equipped K11s

This allows the original cable-operated throttle arrangement to be retained and avoids the need to convert to an electronic drive-by-wire system.

As with any modified vehicle, the actual throttle body and linkage should be checked if the vehicle has previously been engine-swapped or modified.

Underside Auxiliary Ports

The underside of the manifold incorporates four threaded auxiliary ports:

2x M14 x 1.5 Ports

2x M10 x 1.5 Ports

These can be configured to suit the requirements of the individual build.

Potential uses include:

  • Brake Servo Vacuum
  • MAP Sensor Reference
  • Fuel Pressure Regulator Reference
  • Boost Gauge
  • Intake Air Temperature Sensor
  • PCV / Crankcase Ventilation
  • Auxiliary Vacuum Take-Off
  • Other Engine Management Functions

The exact use of each port is left to the installer.

⚠️ Fittings Are Not Included

Unless specifically stated otherwise, hose tails, sensor adapters, blanking plugs and other fittings for these threaded ports are not included.

Any unused port must be correctly sealed before the engine is operated.

Suitable for Naturally Aspirated or Forced-Induction Builds

The manifold can be used as part of a wide range of CG engine configurations, including:

  • Naturally Aspirated Performance Builds
  • Turbocharged Engines
  • Supercharged Engines
  • Larger Injector Conversions
  • Standalone ECU Builds
  • Fast-Road Cars
  • Track & Competition Vehicles

The manifold itself does not guarantee a specific horsepower increase.

Final performance depends on the complete engine specification, including:

  • Camshafts
  • Cylinder Head
  • Exhaust Manifold
  • Compression Ratio
  • Throttle Body
  • Fuel System
  • Forced-Induction System
  • ECU
  • Calibration

What's Included?

  • 1x GizFab CG Performance Inlet Manifold
  • Applicable O-Ring Seals

Unless specifically stated otherwise, the following are not included:

  • Fuel Rail
  • Fuel Injectors
  • Fuel Pressure Regulator
  • Fuel Lines
  • Fuel Fittings
  • Throttle Body
  • Sensors
  • Vacuum Fittings
  • Hose Tails
  • Blanking Plugs
  • ECU
  • Wiring

Professional Installation Required

This is a performance engine component and should be installed by somebody suitably experienced.

Before operating the engine:

  • Confirm Injector Fitment
  • Check Injector O-Ring Sealing
  • Confirm Fuel Rail Alignment
  • Pressure-Test the Fuel System
  • Check for Fuel Leaks
  • Check Manifold O-Rings
  • Ensure All Unused Ports Are Sealed
  • Confirm Brake Servo Vacuum Operation
  • Check Throttle Operation
  • Check Throttle Cable Movement
  • Check Bonnet & Component Clearance
  • Check for Vacuum / Boost Leaks
  • Confirm ECU Calibration Where Required

Fuel leaks or uncontrolled intake leaks must be rectified before the engine is operated.

Engine Management & Calibration

A standard or lightly modified engine may retain its existing engine management depending on the overall specification.

However, professional ECU calibration will generally be required where the manifold forms part of a more substantially modified setup, particularly with:

  • Larger Injectors
  • Turbocharging
  • Supercharging
  • Modified Camshafts
  • Increased Compression
  • Alternative Fuels
  • Significant Airflow Changes

Injector calibration data and fuel pressure must be correctly configured within the engine management system.

Motorsport / Modified Vehicle Use

This product is intended primarily for modified and performance vehicles.

Changes to the intake, fuel, PCV or emissions-control systems may affect road legality, emissions compliance and vehicle inspection requirements.

The purchaser and installer are responsible for ensuring the completed installation complies with all applicable regulations.
