Designed specifically for QG-swapped Nissan Micra K11s, our 3D Printed Aluminium Inlet Manifold provides a compact, modern intake solution for QG engine conversions where packaging within the K11 engine bay is critical.

Manufactured using 3D printed aluminium, the manifold incorporates O-ring sealing, a supplied high-flow fuel rail for standardised 14mm injectors, a Bosch 57mm Drive-By-Wire throttle body flange and three auxiliary ports on the underside of the manifold.

Designed Specifically for QG-Swapped K11s

Installing a Nissan QG engine into the considerably smaller K11 engine bay introduces several packaging challenges, particularly around the inlet manifold, throttle body, brake system and surrounding bodywork.

This manifold has been developed specifically around the requirements of a QG engine installed into a Nissan Micra K11, rather than simply adapting an original QG inlet manifold and accepting the resulting packaging compromises.

3D Printed Aluminium Construction

The manifold is manufactured using metal additive manufacturing from aluminium.

3D printing gives considerably greater freedom over the internal and external geometry than a conventionally fabricated manifold.

This allows features such as the runners, plenum, injector locations, sensor ports and other transitions to be incorporated directly into the manifold design while maintaining a compact overall package.

The manifold measures approximately:

The compact overall dimensions are particularly important when installing a QG engine into the K11 engine bay, where available space is considerably more restricted than in the QG engine's original application.

Customers should still check their individual installation carefully, particularly where engine position, brake components, bonnet configuration or other surrounding components have been modified.

O-Ring Sealing

The manifold uses O-ring seals rather than relying solely on conventional cut gaskets at the applicable sealing interfaces.

Correct installation is essential.

All sealing faces and O-rings should be inspected before assembly, and O-rings should be correctly seated and lightly lubricated with a suitable assembly lubricant where appropriate.

14mm Injector Compatibility

The manifold and supplied fuel rail are designed around standardised 14mm fuel injectors.

This provides considerably greater flexibility when selecting injectors for naturally aspirated, supercharged or turbocharged QG builds.

⚠️ FUEL INJECTORS ARE NOT INCLUDED

Injector length, electrical connector, flow rate and ECU compatibility remain the responsibility of the customer.

A 14mm injector diameter alone does not guarantee that every injector will be suitable.

Injector specification should be selected around the engine, fuel type, intended power level and engine management system.

Fuel Rail Included

A matching fuel rail is supplied with the manifold.

The fuel rail features:

M14 x 1.5 connections

This provides flexibility when configuring the fuel feed, return and pressure regulator arrangement around the individual conversion.

⚠️ FUEL RAIL ADAPTERS / FITTINGS ARE NOT INCLUDED

The appropriate adapters, fittings, fuel hoses and fuel pressure regulator arrangement must be selected by the installer to suit the vehicle's fuel system.

Fuel system components must be rated for the fuel type and operating pressure being used.

Bosch 57mm Drive-By-Wire Throttle Body Flange

This provides a modern electronic throttle solution for customers using suitable aftermarket engine management.

⚠️ DRIVE-BY-WIRE REQUIRES SUITABLE ENGINE MANAGEMENT

A DBW throttle body cannot simply be connected to the original mechanical K11 accelerator cable.

The conversion requires a compatible accelerator pedal position sensor, suitable wiring and an ECU capable of correctly controlling electronic throttle operation.

DBW configuration and safety strategies should be set up by somebody experienced with the engine management system being used.

The purchaser and installer are responsible for ensuring the completed vehicle complies with any regulations applicable to its intended use.

12-Month Warranty*

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover incorrect installation, incorrect injector selection, fuel leaks caused by third-party fittings, incorrect fuel pressure, unsuitable fuels or components, modification, physical damage, incorrect DBW configuration, engine failure, tuning/calibration faults or failure of surrounding components.

The warranty applies to the GizFab-manufactured manifold and fuel rail only and does not cover injectors, throttle bodies, sensors, fittings, fuel system components, ECU components, labour, tuning, removal/refitting costs or consequential damage.
