The GizFab Hornet Exhaust System is designed for K11 Micra owners who want maximum noise, an aggressive exhaust note and absolutely no consideration for the peace and quiet of anyone around them.

With a non-resonated, straight-through design, the Hornet does away with unnecessary silencing to give the Micra a raw, aggressive and unmistakably loud exhaust note.

Manufactured from 2" stainless steel tubing and finished with our distinctive megaphone-style 2.5" tailpipe, it's an exhaust system designed to look every bit as purposeful as it sounds.

The Loud One

Let's get this out of the way:

The Hornet is loud. Intentionally loud.

This isn't a sports exhaust designed to provide a slightly deeper tone while maintaining factory levels of refinement.

The straight-through, non-resonated construction removes much of the sound attenuation found in a conventional exhaust system, allowing significantly more of the engine's natural exhaust note to make its way out of the tailpipe.

Depending on the rest of the vehicle's exhaust setup, you should expect:

• More Exhaust Presence Inside the Vehicle
• Increased Drone at Certain Engine Speeds
• Very Little Concern for Your Neighbours

If your priorities are refinement, subtlety and peaceful motorway cruising, we manufacture other exhaust options.

The Hornet isn't one of them.

Straight-Through 2" Construction

The Hornet is manufactured using 2" stainless steel tubing with a non-resonated, straight-through design.

This provides a less restrictive exhaust path compared with heavily silenced factory-style systems and makes the Hornet particularly well suited to modified K11s where both exhaust flow and sound are a priority.

No specific horsepower increase is guaranteed. Any performance difference will depend on the complete engine specification, exhaust manifold, catalytic converter, engine management and other modifications fitted to the vehicle.

2.5" Megaphone-Style Tailpipe

At the rear sits the Hornet's distinctive 2.5" megaphone-style tailpipe.

Rather than simply welding a conventional oversized exhaust tip onto the system, the megaphone-style outlet gives the Hornet its characteristic motorsport-inspired appearance and helps distinguish it from our more conventional K11 exhaust systems.

Pre-Facelift & Facelift Options

Different tailpipe configurations are available to suit the different K11 rear bumper designs.

Please select the correct bumper option when ordering.

The position and height of the exhaust outlet differs between K11 bumper variants, so selecting the correct version is important for proper tailpipe alignment and clearance.

It is designed to use the original exhaust mounting locations for straightforward installation.

Fitting Kit Included

The required gaskets and clamps are supplied with the exhaust system.

Due to the age of the K11 platform, we recommend inspecting the existing exhaust hangers, mounting rubbers, studs and surrounding components during installation and replacing any excessively worn or corroded parts.

Vehicles fitted with non-standard manifolds, catalytic converters, decats or previously modified exhaust components may require additional adjustment during installation.

⚠️ IMPORTANT - THIS EXHAUST IS INTENTIONALLY LOUD

We really can't emphasise this enough.

Do not purchase the Hornet expecting a refined sports exhaust.

Noise level will vary depending on the rest of the vehicle's specification. A Hornet fitted behind a standard manifold and catalytic converter may sound considerably different from one fitted to a vehicle with a performance manifold and decat.

Removing additional silencers or emissions-control components can increase exhaust volume considerably further.

No guarantee is made that the system will comply with any specific circuit, event or motorsport noise limit.

Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified technician.

Following installation, the complete exhaust system should be checked for:

EXHAUST COMPONENTS MAY BECOME EXTREMELY HOT DURING OPERATION. INCORRECT INSTALLATION, INADEQUATE CLEARANCE OR CONTACT WITH HEAT-SENSITIVE OR FLAMMABLE COMPONENTS MAY RESULT IN FIRE, SERIOUS INJURY OR VEHICLE DAMAGE.

12-Month Warranty*

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover normal internal silencer deterioration, cosmetic discolouration associated with exhaust temperature, corrosion resulting from external contamination or inadequate maintenance, incorrect installation, modification, impact damage, misuse, damage caused by excessive engine movement or failure of surrounding exhaust components.

Exhaust volume, tone, rasp and drone are subjective characteristics and are not considered manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not guarantee compliance with road, MOT, emissions, noise or motorsport event requirements.
