Nissan Micra K11 Complete Engine Mount Bush Set – 85A

Developed for competition and performance-focused Nissan Micra K11s, our Complete Engine Mount Bush Set replaces the compliant factory rubber bushes across all four engine mounts with significantly firmer 85A Shore polyurethane bushes.

By reducing unwanted movement of the engine and transmission under acceleration, braking and gear changes, the bushes provide a much more positive connection between the drivetrain and chassis.

The result is a noticeably more direct, mechanical feel, particularly during hard acceleration and fast gear changes.

The trade-off? Considerably more vibration inside the car.

These are designed with motorsport use in mind, not refinement.

Complete 4-Mount Bush Kit

The kit includes replacement polyurethane bushings for all four engine/transmission mounting positions on the Nissan Micra K11.

The original engine mount casings are retained, with the factory rubber components replaced by the firmer polyurethane bushes.

This listing is for the replacement bush set. Complete replacement engine mount casings are not included.

Why Upgrade the Engine Mount Bushes?

The standard K11 engine mounts use relatively soft rubber to isolate engine vibration from the passenger compartment.

That's great for comfort, but under hard acceleration and aggressive gear changes it also allows the complete engine and transmission assembly to move within the engine bay.

Using significantly firmer 85A Shore polyurethane bushes reduces this movement.

Transmission Losses

Reducing the amount of drivetrain movement means less energy is absorbed through the deformation of the soft factory engine mount bushes.

While this can improve the immediacy and response of the drivetrain, these bushes should not be considered a power-increasing modification and we do not claim a specific horsepower gain from their installation.

Their primary purpose is to control drivetrain movement and improve mechanical response.

⚠️ IMPORTANT – Dramatically Increased Cabin Vibration

PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING.

These bushes have an 85A Shore hardness and are considerably stiffer than the factory engine mount bushes.

Installing the complete set will result in a significant increase in Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) transmitted through the vehicle.

You should expect additional:

This is a consequence of substantially reducing the isolation between the drivetrain and chassis.

If refinement and comfortable everyday road use are important to you, this complete 85A bush set may not be suitable.

Increased vibration after installation is normal and is not considered a product defect.

NASA Autograss Approved

These engine mount bushes are approved for use within applicable NASA Autograss competition regulations.

Competitors remain responsible for ensuring that their complete vehicle specification complies with the regulations applicable to their individual class.

The complete bush set is supplied exclusively in BLACK.

Installation

Professional installation is recommended.

The existing engine mount casings must be removed and the original rubber bushes removed before the polyurethane replacements can be installed.

All factory mount casings should be inspected for cracking, corrosion or damage before re-use.

Correct support of the engine and transmission is essential while removing and installing the mounts.

Motorsport Use Notice

Due to the substantial increase in drivetrain vibration and harshness, this product is primarily intended for motorsport, competition and performance applications.

Customers installing these bushes into road vehicles should understand and accept the considerable reduction in refinement associated with using an 85A engine mounting system.

12-Month Warranty*

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover normal wear, incorrect installation, misuse, contamination, physical damage, modification, damaged or defective factory engine mount casings, or damage resulting from excessive drivetrain movement caused by other defective components.

Increased engine vibration, transmission vibration, cabin noise and general NVH are inherent characteristics of this product and are not considered defects or grounds for a warranty claim.
