Nissan Micra K11 CG Decompression Plate

Manufactured from solid copper at a thickness of 1.2mm, the plate increases the distance between the cylinder head and engine block. This enlarges the combustion chamber volume and lowers the compression ratio, helping provide additional detonation resistance on correctly configured forced-induction engines.

A decompression plate alone does not make an otherwise standard engine suitable for forced induction. Correct ECU calibration, fuel delivery, ignition timing, boost control and supporting modifications remain essential.
