Take control of the front suspension geometry of your Nissan Micra K11 with our Adjustable Tubular Front Wishbones.

Designed primarily for motorsport and competition applications, these replace the factory pressed-steel wishbones with a CDS tubular construction and introduce adjustment for camber, castor and track width, together with provision for roll-centre correction.

This allows the front suspension geometry to be configured around the individual vehicle rather than being restricted by the fixed geometry of the factory wishbones.

Adjustable Camber

The wishbones provide additional control over front camber.

Camber describes the angle of the wheel relative to vertical when viewed from the front of the vehicle.

Being able to adjust this mechanically at the wishbone provides greater flexibility when setting the vehicle up for different ride heights, tyre specifications and motorsport applications.

Correct camber setup can help optimise tyre contact during cornering, but excessive settings can negatively affect braking, tyre wear and handling.

Adjustable Castor

Castor adjustment allows the fore/aft position and angle of the suspension geometry to be altered.

Increasing or changing castor can influence steering weight, self-centring behaviour, straight-line stability and the amount of dynamic camber generated as steering lock is applied.

This gives the suspension tuner another useful adjustment when developing the front-end behaviour of a competition K11.

Adjustable Track Width

The wishbones also provide adjustment of the vehicle's front track width.

This allows the position of the wheel to be moved laterally to suit the required suspension setup.

Track-width adjustment may be useful when accommodating different wheel and tyre combinations or developing the overall geometry of a competition vehicle.

Any adjustment which changes the position of the wheel must be accompanied by appropriate checks for driveshaft engagement, CV joint operating range, steering geometry, tyre clearance and suspension clearance.

Roll-Centre Correction

Lowering a vehicle changes more than simply its ride height.

As the K11 is lowered, the operating angle of the front wishbones changes, which in turn alters the suspension's geometric roll centre.

Our tubular wishbones incorporate roll-centre correction provision to help address the geometry changes associated with substantially lowered suspension setups.

This is particularly relevant on dedicated track and competition vehicles running significantly lower than the original factory ride height.

Anti-Roll Bar Compatibility

The wishbones are designed to retain compatibility with:

As with any modified suspension setup, final clearance should be checked throughout the complete range of steering and suspension movement after installation.

CDS Tubular Construction

The factory pressed-steel wishbone is replaced with a fabricated CDS tubular assembly, providing the structure required while allowing the additional adjustment mechanisms to be incorporated into the suspension arm.

The wishbones are supplied exclusively in our BLACK powder-coated finish.

Alternative colours are not available.

The adjustment available means it is possible to configure the suspension outside sensible or safe operating parameters if incorrectly installed or adjusted.

For this reason, professional installation and setup are essential.

Professional Installation & Geometry Setup Required

This product must be installed and set up by a suitably qualified technician with experience in modified suspension geometry.

Simply bolting the wishbones onto the vehicle is not sufficient.

Following installation, the vehicle will require a comprehensive suspension geometry setup, including appropriate measurement and adjustment of:

• Toe
• Track Width
• Ride Height
• Roll-Centre Configuration

The installer should also verify:

• Steering Rack & Track Rod Travel

All locking hardware and adjustment points should be correctly secured before the vehicle is operated.

Geometry and fastener security should also be inspected periodically as part of normal competition vehicle maintenance.

12-Month Warranty*

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover normal wear of serviceable components, incorrect installation or adjustment, physical impact, kerb or accident damage, misuse, modification, corrosion resulting from inadequate maintenance, operation outside appropriate suspension geometry limits, incorrect driveshaft engagement or damage resulting from other defective or incorrectly configured suspension components.

Due to the motorsport nature of this product, suspension components and mounting hardware should be regularly inspected as part of the vehicle's routine competition maintenance programme.
