Starting with a brand-new engine sump, the sump is modified with a dedicated turbo oil drain connection designed to accept 16mm ID oil-resistant hose.

Ideal for turbo conversions where a gravity-fed oil return from the turbocharger needs to be routed back into the engine sump, eliminating the need to remove and modify your existing sump.

Turbo Oil Return

The sump incorporates a dedicated 16mm hose barb for connection to the turbocharger oil drain.

A turbo oil return relies primarily on gravity, so correct installation and routing of the drain hose is important. The return hose should have a suitable continuous fall towards the sump wherever possible and should not be kinked, restricted or routed in a way that allows oil to back up towards the turbocharger.

The installer is responsible for ensuring the turbocharger oil drain arrangement is suitable for the specific turbocharger and installation.

Suitable sealing products and installation components will need to be sourced separately where required.

Installation

Professional installation is recommended.

All sealing surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned and prepared before installation, and a suitable sump sealing method should be used in accordance with the engine manufacturer's requirements.

After installation, the engine should be checked carefully for oil leaks around both the sump sealing surface and turbo oil return connection before the vehicle is driven.

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover oil leaks resulting from incorrect installation or sealing, damage caused by incorrect turbo oil drain routing, physical impact, misuse, modification, excessive crankcase pressure, damage to the sump after installation or failure of surrounding engine or turbocharger components.
