Nissan Micra K11 Side-Feed High-Flow Billet Fuel Rail

Introducing our High-Flow Billet Fuel Rail for Nissan Micra K11 Distributor engines, designed specifically to allow the use of larger SR20-style side-feed fuel injectors.

The factory K11 Distributor fuel system uses side-feed injectors, but the standard Micra injector arrangement limits the options available when upgrading the fuel system for higher-power applications.

Our billet fuel rail provides a solution for modified and forced-induction K11s by allowing compatible SR20 side-feed injectors to be used alongside a remotely mounted fuel pressure regulator.

Machined from billet aluminium and finished in black anodising, the rail features M14x1.5 threaded ends together with a dedicated 1/8 NPT fuel-pressure gauge/sensor port.

Why Use SR20 Side-Feed Injectors?

The purpose of this rail is to provide access to a wider range of larger-capacity side-feed injectors than is available in the original Micra fitment.

This can be particularly useful on turbocharged, supercharged or otherwise heavily modified CG engines where the original injectors no longer provide sufficient fuel capacity.

The fuel rail itself does not increase engine power.

It provides the hardware required to support an appropriately upgraded fuel system when used with correctly sized injectors, fuel supply components and engine management.

⚠️ Additional SR20 Injector Hardware Required

In addition to compatible SR20-style side-feed injectors, you will require the appropriate injector caps and insulators from an SR20 fuel rail or another suitable side-feed application.

These components are NOT supplied with the fuel rail.

The appropriate components are still available new from Nissan using the following part numbers:

Injector Cap

4x Nissan 16635-53J0A
Injector Cap Insulator

Alternatively, suitable donor components may be sourced from a compatible SR20 or appropriate side-feed fuel rail.

You will require four injector caps and four injector cap insulators to complete the installation.

Remote Fuel Pressure Regulator Required

This fuel rail is designed to operate with a remotely mounted fuel pressure regulator.

The original fuel-pressure regulation arrangement should not be assumed to be compatible with this rail.

A suitable external regulator, fuel lines and fittings must be selected according to the requirements of the complete fuel system.

M14x1.5 Fuel Connections

The fuel rail features M14x1.5 threaded ends to allow the installer to configure the fuel connections to suit their particular installation.

M14x1.5 fuel fittings are NOT included.

This allows the installer to select the appropriate fittings and hose arrangement for their fuel system rather than being restricted to a predetermined configuration.

1/8 NPT Gauge / Sensor Port

A dedicated 1/8 NPT port is provided for the installation of a suitable fuel-pressure gauge or pressure sensor.

If the port is not required, a suitable port bung is supplied to seal it.

Designed for:

Nissan Micra K11 Distributor Engines Using Side-Feed Injectors

This rail is specifically intended to convert the fuel rail arrangement to accept compatible SR20-style side-feed injectors.

It is NOT compatible with the factory Micra side-feed injectors.

Later Coilpack K11 engines using the different top-feed injector arrangement require a different fuel rail.

⚠️ Professional Installation Recommended

Fuel systems operate with pressurised, highly flammable fuel and must be assembled correctly.

Professional installation by a suitably qualified technician is strongly recommended.

All fittings, seals, injector O-rings and fuel lines must be suitable for the fuel type and operating pressure being used.

The complete fuel system should be thoroughly checked and pressure-tested for leaks before starting the engine.

Any sign of fuel leakage must be rectified before the vehicle is operated.

ECU Calibration Required

Installing larger fuel injectors will require the engine management system to be correctly configured for the injectors being used.

Injector flow rate, fuel pressure and injector characteristics must all be considered when calibrating the ECU.

Do not install substantially larger injectors and operate the engine without appropriate ECU calibration.

Incorrect fuelling can result in poor running, engine damage or potentially dangerous operating conditions.

12-Month Warranty*

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, incompatible injectors or fittings, damaged threads, unsuitable seals, excessive fuel pressure, incompatible fuels, modification, fuel leakage resulting from installation error or failure of surrounding fuel-system components.
