K11 Micra Rear Caliper Conversion Kit

As used and tested our our 450hp Time Attack K11 Micra! This kit converts your DRUM Axle to a caliper and disc assembly.

Why? K11 Micra Disc Axles are getting harder to source. the Calipers used on the K11 Disc axles were proprietary to the K11 and were not shared on ANY other Nissan and as a result, replacement carriers, calipers and spare components either are very expensive or do not exist.

Our kit uses a commonly found (And still produced) Caliper and Carrier from the VAG Group (Details Below) Advantages is part availability, larger piston and a wider selection of performance pads.

This is a NO WELD KIT! No welding is required!

WHAT AXLE IS REQUIRED?

These brackets will allow you to convert your Drum Axle to accept a Disc and Caliper setup. This kit will NOT work on Disc Axles!

WHAT CALIPERS ARE REQUIRED?

The Kit is designed around VAG Group Calipers and Carriers, Audi A1, A3, TT, VW Golf, Beetle, Seat & Skoda.

Left Hand - 6N0615423 (Please Note, there are several OEM part numbers & Designs for these)

Right Hand - 6N0615424 (Please Note, there are several OEM part numbers & Designs for these)

These calipers have the distinctive "cooling fins" as pictured.

WHAT DISCS AND PADS ARE USED?

The discs are OE Fitment K11 Micra Rear Discs. Rear Pads are to suit the calipers used (List above)

Discs - OEM Part Number / 43206-5F001

Pads - OEM Part Number / 191698451 (Please Note, there are several OEM part numbers for these)

WILL THIS WORK WITH ANY OTHER CALIPERS?

This kit will NOT work with any other caliper, carrier or disc combination. Only the ones quoted above.

HANDBRAKE CABLE

Currently, there is no solution for the handbrake cable.

We found a company who will make the required cables, however it requires you to send both the K11 & VAG Cables (4 Cables total) So they can re-use the brackets on the cables.

We are in talks with a company who can produce the required cables, But we are currently waiting on pricing and MOQ's required (Expected to be £30-50 a cable)

The cable in question needs to be Part Micra, Part VAG (The K11 cable will NOT fit, Discs or Drum type). Other solutions we have looked into, is swapping a complete VAG Handbrake assembly into the K11, meaning you can use the VAG Handbrake cables complete. This isn't a straight forward job however.

WHAT SIZE WHEELS ARE REQUIRED?

14"s Minimum. 13" Wheels will Not fit from the handful we have been able to physically test fit in person - There is a good chance some 13" Aftermarket wheels will fit over the calipers, its just not physically possible for us to test fit hundreds of 13" wheels to confirm.

Its worth noting that whilst the few sets of 14"'s we have test fitted cleared the caliper, we cannot guarantee that all 14" wheels will fit as we physically cannot provide a definitive list of what wheels will and will not fit. So please bear in mind you may require spacers to clear the caliper
