Complete the front end of your early K11 with our GIZMO Front Lower Lip, a fibreglass reproduction-style lower spoiler designed specifically for the Pre-Facelift Nissan Micra K11 front bumper.

Manufactured from fibreglass and supplied in a white gel coat finish, the lip is intended to be professionally prepared, trial-fitted and painted before final installation.

This version is designed specifically for the PRE-FACELIFT Nissan Micra K11 front bumper.

It is NOT suitable for 1st Facelift or 2nd Facelift bumpers.

Fibreglass / GRP Construction

The lip is manufactured from fibreglass reinforced plastic (GRP) using a moulded manufacturing process.

GRP is well suited to low-volume aftermarket body components, but it should not be treated in the same way as an injection-moulded factory plastic part.

Some preparation is a normal and expected part of installing a fibreglass body component.

⚠️ PREPARATION IS REQUIRED

These lips are supplied directly from the moulding process in white gel coat and will require moderate preparation before final installation and painting.

Typical preparation will include:

• Removing Remaining Mould Release Wax
• Cleaning & Degreasing
• Sanding the Gel Coat
• Removing Minor Surface Blemishes
• Trial Fitting to the Bumper
• Sanding/Finishing the Mating Faces
• Cutting the Opening for the Factory Tow Hook
• Minor Edge Finishing where required
• Primer Preparation
• Final Painting

The lip should be repeatedly trial-fitted during preparation to achieve the best possible relationship with the individual bumper before paint is applied.

Tow Hook Opening

The opening for the factory front tow hook is not supplied pre-cut.

This must be cut during preparation.

Leaving this operation to the installer allows the opening to be accurately positioned against the individual vehicle and bumper before material is removed.

We recommend measuring and trial-fitting carefully before making the final cut.

WHITE GEL COAT ONLY

These are available in WHITE GEL COAT ONLY.

The white finish is the manufacturing gel coat, not a finished automotive paint surface.

The component will require preparation and painting to achieve a finished appearance.

Please do not request alternative gel coat colours, painted finishes or colour-matched versions. These are supplied in white gel coat only.

Mounting Options

The lip does not rely on one mandatory mounting method.

Depending on the installer's preference, it can be:

Bonded to the bumper using a suitable automotive body adhesive

or

Mechanically secured using brackets, screws, rivets or similar suitable hardware.

A combination of adhesive and mechanical fastening may also be used where appropriate.

⚠️ MOUNTING HARDWARE & ADHESIVE NOT INCLUDED

Brackets, screws, rivets, adhesive and other mounting materials are not supplied.

The installer is responsible for selecting a mounting method suitable for the vehicle and intended use.

Professional Bodyshop Installation Recommended

For the best finished result, we recommend installation and preparation by somebody experienced with fibreglass/GRP automotive body components.

The lip should be completely trial-fitted and all necessary trimming, sanding, drilling and tow-hook clearance work completed before final paintwork.

Do not assume the component can be painted immediately after delivery and then fitted without further preparation.

Normal GRP Characteristics

Minor surface marks, mould lines, small pinholes or slight edge variations can occur as part of the normal GRP manufacturing process.

These are normally addressed during standard body preparation before painting.

Such preparation should be expected when purchasing a low-volume fibreglass body component and does not necessarily indicate a manufacturing defect.

12-Month Warranty*

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover normal GRP surface imperfections that can be corrected during standard preparation, preparation or painting costs, incorrect fitment, insufficient preparation, incorrect tow-hook cutting, modification, damage caused during drilling or fastening, unsuitable adhesive, impact damage, kerb damage, road debris damage or incorrect installation.

Paintwork, bodyshop labour, preparation costs, adhesives and mounting hardware are not covered by the product warranty.
