The Hardrace Reinforced Engine Mount Set is a direct replacement upgrade for Automatic NCVT Nissan Micra / March K11 models.

Supplied as a complete 3-piece set, these mounts use Hardrace's uprated hardened-rubber construction to reduce excessive engine and transmission movement compared with soft or ageing factory mounts.

The result is a more controlled drivetrain with a more direct connection between the engine, transmission and chassis, while retaining the vibration-isolating properties of a rubber engine mount.

This kit is specifically designed for K11 models fitted with the Automatic NCVT transmission.

It is NOT the correct engine mount kit for manual-transmission K11s.

Please confirm the transmission fitted to your vehicle before ordering, particularly where the drivetrain has previously been replaced or converted.

Why Upgrade the Engine Mounts?

The engine and transmission are not mounted completely solidly into the K11 chassis.

The factory rubber mounts provide isolation between the drivetrain and body, helping reduce the amount of engine vibration and noise transmitted into the cabin.

The compromise is movement.

Under acceleration, deceleration and cornering loads, the drivetrain can move within the factory rubber mounts. As those mounts age and soften, this movement can become increasingly noticeable.

Hardrace uses a stiffer, higher-density rubber compound to reduce this movement while still retaining rubber between the drivetrain and chassis.

Controlling excessive drivetrain movement can provide a more direct and responsive feeling from the vehicle.

These mounts do not increase engine horsepower.

Instead, their purpose is to better control the physical movement of the drivetrain under load.

Hardened Rubber vs Solid Mounts

These are hardened-rubber mounts, not solid engine mounts.

This makes them a useful compromise for a performance road car.

The stiffer rubber provides greater drivetrain control than a soft standard mount while retaining some isolation between the engine and chassis.

However, because the mounts are stiffer than standard, some increase in Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) should be expected.

This may be particularly noticeable at idle or at certain engine speeds.

An increase in drivetrain vibration is an inherent characteristic of fitting uprated engine mounts and is not necessarily an indication of a defective component.

Installation

During installation, the surrounding mounting points and hardware should also be inspected for:

Important NVH Notice

Customers prioritising maximum factory-style refinement should take this into consideration before fitting uprated drivetrain mounts.

Hardrace products are supplied subject to the manufacturer's applicable warranty terms and conditions.

Normal wear and deterioration, increased NVH resulting from the use of uprated mounts, corrosion resulting from inadequate maintenance, incorrect installation, modification, accident damage, excessive drivetrain movement caused by other defective components and damage resulting from misuse are not considered manufacturing defects.
