Nissan Micra K11 Front Upper Strut Brace

Designed and manufactured by GizFab, our Nissan Micra K11 Front Upper Brace is designed to increase rigidity across the front of the K11 chassis by linking the two front upper suspension mounting points together.

The brace has been specifically designed around the K11 engine bay, providing clearance for vehicles equipped with Power Steering (PAS), ABS and Air Conditioning, while also clearing the factory Nissan and GA-style air boxes.

Manufactured from steel and precision TIG welded, it's a simple bolt-on chassis upgrade for road, fast-road, track and competition-focused K11s.

Why Fit a Front Upper Brace?

During cornering, braking and changes of direction, loads from the front suspension are transferred into the vehicle's chassis through the suspension mounting points.

The body shell itself has a degree of flexibility.

A front upper brace creates a rigid connection between the left and right upper suspension mounting areas, helping reduce relative movement across the front of the chassis.

Providing a more rigid platform for the suspension to operate from can result in:

Rather than simply producing a straight bar between the suspension towers, our brace has been designed around the components commonly found within the K11 engine bay.

Installation

The brace is designed as a bolt-on chassis reinforcement component.

Professional installation by a suitably qualified technician is recommended.

Before installation, the suspension mounting points and surrounding bodywork should be inspected for:

• Previous Chassis Repairs

The brace must not be used to force damaged or incorrectly positioned suspension mounting points back into alignment.

All mounting hardware should be correctly tightened before the vehicle is used and periodically inspected thereafter.

Important Compatibility Information

The brace has been designed to clear the factory K11 engine bay equipment and air box configurations stated above.

Clearance cannot be guaranteed with every aftermarket intake system, engine conversion, custom engine mount arrangement or other non-standard engine bay modification.

Where substantial modifications have been made, we recommend checking available clearance before installation.

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover cosmetic deterioration, corrosion resulting from inadequate maintenance, incorrect installation, modification, accident or impact damage, misuse or damage resulting from defective or damaged surrounding chassis or suspension components.
