Nissan Micra K11 Front Lower Brace

One of our favourite chassis upgrades for the Nissan Micra K11, the GizFab Front Lower Brace is designed to reinforce the front suspension by linking the lower control arm mounting points together.

The K11's lower front suspension mounting area has relatively little structural reinforcement between the control arm pick-up points. Under cornering and braking loads, the chassis can flex rather than allowing the suspension geometry to remain as consistent as possible.

Our Front Lower Brace creates a rigid connection across these mounting points, helping stiffen this area of the chassis and providing a more positive platform for the front suspension to work from.

Why Brace the Lower Control Arm Mounts?

Your suspension can only work as accurately as the structure it is attached to.

The front lower control arms transmit substantial loads into the chassis during:

• Cornering
• Braking
• Acceleration
• Direction Changes
• Kerb & Track Use

If the mounting structure moves or flexes under these loads, some of the suspension input is absorbed by the chassis rather than being controlled entirely by the springs, dampers and suspension geometry.

The GizFab Front Lower Brace links the lower control arm mounting points together, providing additional reinforcement across this area of the chassis.

As with any chassis modification, the brace should be considered as part of the overall suspension package rather than as a substitute for correctly set-up suspension and geometry.

⚠️ IMPORTANT GROUND CLEARANCE NOTICE

Please consider your vehicle's ride height before ordering.

The Front Lower Brace is installed beneath the lateral engine support frame, meaning it becomes one of the lower components underneath the front of the vehicle.

As a result, this brace may not be suitable for excessively lowered vehicles.

The reduction in ground clearance should be considered carefully on vehicles with very low ride heights.

Adequate clearance must be maintained from:

• Road Surfaces
• Speed Bumps
• Kerbs
• Ramps
• Track Kerbing
• Other Obstacles

Impacting the brace against the ground can potentially damage the brace, its mounting points or surrounding chassis components.

If your K11 is extremely low, we recommend checking the available ground clearance before purchasing.

Installation

The brace is designed as a bolt-on chassis reinforcement component.

Professional installation by a suitably qualified technician is recommended.

Before installation, the lower control arm mounting points and surrounding chassis should be inspected for corrosion, accident damage, distortion or previous repairs.

The brace must not be used to pull damaged or incorrectly positioned suspension mounting points back into alignment.

All mounting hardware should be correctly tightened and the brace inspected periodically, particularly on track and competition vehicles.

Motorsport & Off-Road Use Only

This product is intended for motorsport and off-road use only and is not intended for use on public highways.

The installer is responsible for ensuring adequate ground clearance and that the brace does not interfere with any suspension, steering, drivetrain or other surrounding components.

12-Month Warranty*

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover cosmetic deterioration, corrosion resulting from inadequate maintenance, incorrect installation, modification, accident damage, misuse or impact damage caused by contact with the road, kerbs, speed bumps, track surfaces or other obstacles.

Damage to surrounding chassis or suspension components is not covered.
