Designed to provide a useful increase in performance without moving to an extreme competition cam profile, these camshafts offer a broad 1,500–6,800 RPM quoted power band, making them particularly well suited to fast-road and naturally aspirated performance builds.

With increased duration and lift over the standard camshafts, the Fast-Road profile is intended to improve engine breathing and provide stronger performance while retaining a usable power band.

These camshafts are designed for K11 DISTRIBUTOR engines ONLY.

They are NOT suitable for the later Coilpack CG engines.

Please confirm which engine type is fitted to your vehicle before ordering.

Used Core or New Core – Which One Is Right for You?

We offer two routes depending on your budget and whether you want to supply your existing camshafts.

Used Core

With the Used Core option, you send us your existing camshafts for re-profiling.

Your camshafts will first be inspected to determine whether they are in suitable condition to be safely re-profiled.

If either camshaft is excessively worn, damaged or otherwise considered unsuitable for re-profiling, we may be unable to proceed using that core.

Any unsuitable camshaft may need to be returned at the customer's cost.

This is the most cost-effective option if your existing camshafts are in serviceable condition.

New Core

Choose the New Core option if you don't want to send us your original camshafts.

The camshafts are produced using brand-new cores, giving you a fresh pair without needing to remove and submit your originals for inspection and re-profiling.

Used Core = Lower-cost option using your suitable existing camshafts.

New Core = Brand-new camshaft cores with no exchange or original camshafts required.

About the Quoted Power Increase

The 8 BHP figure is a quoted performance figure for the camshaft profile and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed increase on every engine.

Actual results will depend on the condition and specification of the engine and supporting modifications, including the intake system, exhaust system, cylinder head, compression ratio, ignition timing, fuelling and ECU setup where applicable.

For best results, the camshafts should form part of a correctly matched engine package rather than being considered an isolated guaranteed horsepower increase.

⚠️ Shimming Required

These camshafts WILL require the valve clearances to be correctly measured and shimmed during installation.

They should not simply be installed in place of the original camshafts without checking and setting the valve clearances.

Incorrect valve clearance can result in poor running, excessive valvetrain noise, reduced performance or serious engine and valvetrain damage.

Professional Installation Required

Professional installation by a suitably qualified engine builder or technician is strongly recommended.

Installation should include appropriate checks of:

• Valve Clearances
• Camshaft Timing
• Camshaft Lubrication
• Valvetrain Condition
• Timing Chain & Associated Components
• Valve-to-Piston Clearance Where Engine Specification Has Been Modified

The installer is responsible for confirming that sufficient mechanical clearance exists for the complete engine specification.

Correct camshaft installation and valve-clearance setup are essential before the engine is started.

Fitting Data

Full technical fitting and setup information is available from the camshaft manufacturer's fitting data.

This should be consulted during installation, particularly for the specified valve clearances, timing and full-lift positions.

Road & Performance Use

These are Fast-Road performance camshafts, designed to provide an increase in performance while maintaining a broader and more usable operating range than a more extreme competition-only camshaft profile.

Changes to idle quality, low-speed behaviour, emissions and general engine characteristics may occur depending on the complete engine specification and setup.

Warranty

Camshaft warranty coverage is subject to correct professional installation, lubrication, valve-clearance adjustment and engine setup.

Damage caused by incorrect shimming, incorrect cam timing, inadequate lubrication, piston-to-valve contact, defective surrounding valvetrain components, over-revving, incorrect installation or other engine faults is not considered a manufacturing defect.
