Nissan Micra K11 Bucket Seat Bases

Designed and manufactured by GizFab, our Nissan Micra K11 Bucket Seat Bases provide a strong, bolt-in mounting platform for fitting side-mounted motorsport bucket seats into the K11.

Manufactured from CNC-folded 4mm mild steel and finished in satin black powder coat, the bases utilise the vehicle's original seat mounting locations and fasteners, meaning no drilling of the K11 floor is required.

Available in Left-Hand and Right-Hand versions.

Designed for Side-Mounted Bucket Seats

These bases have been developed specifically around side-mounted motorsport bucket seats using standardised 330mm side mounts.

The base provides the mounting structure within the vehicle, with the appropriate side-mount brackets then used between the seat and base.

This arrangement provides flexibility when positioning the seat and allows the final seating position to be configured around the seat, driver and applicable motorsport regulations.

⚠️ NOT DESIGNED AS A BASE-MOUNT SEAT FRAME

There may physically be sufficient space on the frame to base-mount certain seats.

However:

These seat bases have NOT been designed or sold as a mounting solution for bottom/base-mounted seats.

Our intended and supported installation is:

K11 Floor → GizFab Seat Base → 330mm Side Mounts → Side-Mounted Bucket Seat

If you choose to adapt the frame for a different mounting arrangement, suitability and structural integrity become the responsibility of the installer.

Bolt-In K11 Installation

The seat bases have been designed around the original Nissan Micra K11 seat mounting locations.

No additional holes need to be drilled into the vehicle floor for installation of the base.

The bases utilise the original K11 mounting holes and fasteners, providing a straightforward installation without unnecessarily modifying the vehicle's floor.

Given the age of the K11 platform, all original mounting points and fasteners should be carefully inspected for corrosion, damaged threads, previous repairs or deformation before installation.

4mm CNC-Folded Mild Steel

Each seat base is manufactured from 4mm mild steel, CNC folded to produce the required shape and mounting structure.

The completed frame is finished in a durable satin black powder coat.

Please select the correct side when ordering.

For vehicles requiring both front seats to be converted, one of each version will be required.

OEM Seat Belt Buckle Provision

A dedicated pickup point is incorporated for mounting the original K11 seat belt buckle.

This allows the factory buckle to be retained where appropriate for the vehicle and intended installation.

The condition and operation of the original seat belt, buckle and associated components remain the responsibility of the installer.

Harness Attachment Pickup Points

The bases incorporate pickup points intended to assist with installation of 5/6-point motorsport harness arrangements.

⚠️ HARNESS INSTALLATION MUST FOLLOW THE HARNESS MANUFACTURER & MOTORSPORT REGULATIONS

The presence of harness mounting provisions on the seat base does not automatically make a particular harness installation safe, approved or compliant with your chosen motorsport discipline.

Harness mounting location, angle, orientation and hardware are critical to correct operation.

Different governing bodies, championships and harness manufacturers may specify requirements covering:

These seat bases have been designed for motorsport and off-road applications.

Competition vehicles are subject to different technical regulations depending on championship, class and governing body.

Please consult your current rule book before purchasing or installing these frames to confirm they are suitable for your intended application.

It is the competitor's responsibility to ensure the complete seat and restraint installation complies with the regulations applicable to their vehicle.

Important Safety Information

Replacing the original seat can alter or remove factory-designed occupant safety systems.

Depending on the vehicle specification and installation, this may include:

• Factory Seat Belt Mounting Arrangements
• Seat Belt Pretensioners
• Seat-Mounted Restraint Components
• Airbag/SRS Components
• Occupant Detection Systems

The installer is responsible for identifying any factory safety equipment affected by the installation.

Do not assume that fitting a competition seat or harness automatically provides equivalent or superior occupant protection to the complete factory restraint system.

The seat, side mounts, base, harness and any rollover protection should be treated as parts of a complete occupant safety system and selected accordingly.

Seats and occupant restraints are safety-critical components.

Installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified professional with experience in motorsport seating and restraint systems.

• Confirm Compliance with Applicable Motorsport Regulations

All mounting hardware should be periodically inspected, particularly on competition vehicles.

12-Month Warranty*

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover incorrect installation, adaptation for bottom-mounted seats, drilling or modification of the frame, accident or impact damage, motorsport accident damage, corrosion resulting from coating damage, misuse, incorrect seat or harness installation, unsuitable mounting hardware, failure of original vehicle mounting points or failure of third-party seats, side mounts, harnesses or restraint components.
