Nissan Micra K13 Rear Axle Uprated Rubber Bush Set
Refresh the rear suspension of your Nissan Micra K13 with this uprated rubber rear axle bush set.
Supplied as a 2-piece set, these bushes replace the original rear axle / torsion beam mounting bushes, helping restore positive axle location and reduce unwanted movement from ageing factory rubber components.
An ideal replacement for worn original bushes and a worthwhile upgrade for standard, lowered and fast-road K13s.

Complete 2-Piece Set
The kit contains:
- 2x Uprated Rubber Rear Axle Bushes
Providing the replacement bushes required for both sides of the K13 rear axle / torsion beam mounting arrangement.
Replacing both bushes together helps ensure the rear suspension is operating with components of the same age and specification.
Why Replace the Rear Axle Bushes?
The rear axle bushes locate the torsion beam relative to the chassis while allowing the controlled movement required as the suspension operates.
Over time, the original rubber can deteriorate through age, mileage and repeated suspension movement.
Worn bushes may become:
- Cracked
- Perished
- Torn
- Excessively Soft
- Separated from their Sleeves
- Excessively Compliant
This can allow the rear axle to move more than intended during cornering, braking and changes in load.
Depending on the condition of the existing bushes, symptoms can include knocking, vague rear suspension behaviour or generally less consistent handling.
Uprated Rubber Construction
These replacement bushes use an uprated rubber construction, providing firmer control of the rear axle while retaining the compliance associated with a rubber-bushed suspension system.
This makes them particularly suitable for road and fast-road vehicles where improved suspension control is wanted without moving to a significantly harsher solid or spherical mounting arrangement.
Ideal for:
- Daily Drivers
- Fast-Road K13s
- Lowered Vehicles
- Performance Builds
- Suspension Restorations
- Occasional Track Use
Some increase in suspension feedback may be noticeable compared with soft or heavily worn original bushes.
Ideal for Lowered & Modified K13s
Lowered suspension, performance tyres and increased cornering loads can place additional demands on the rear axle bushes.
Reducing unwanted compliance at the axle mounting points can help provide more consistent rear suspension behaviour as loads change.
For the best results, the condition of the complete rear suspension should be considered rather than replacing individual components in isolation.
Installation
Rear axle bushes are safety-critical suspension components and professional installation is recommended.
Removal of the original bushes and installation of the replacements may require suitable pressing or specialist bush installation equipment.
The rear axle must be correctly supported during removal and installation.
During installation, inspect:
- Rear Axle / Torsion Beam
- Chassis Mounting Points
- Mounting Hardware
- Brake Hoses & Pipes
- ABS Wiring
- Rear Dampers
- Rear Springs
- Surrounding Structure
Any significant corrosion, cracking, deformation or damaged mounting points should be addressed before the vehicle is returned to use.
Correct Installation Position
The bushes must be installed in the correct orientation where applicable.
Where the bush design requires final tightening with the suspension at its normal operating position, the appropriate procedure should be followed to avoid introducing unnecessary preload into the rubber.
Alignment / Geometry Check Recommended
Following major rear suspension work, we recommend checking the vehicle's wheel alignment and rear suspension geometry.
Although the K13 torsion beam provides limited factory adjustment, a geometry check can help identify axle misalignment, accident damage or other suspension problems.
What's Included?
