Spring Rates

The K12 kit is supplied with:

Front: 6kg/mm
Rear: 4.5kg/mm

These rates provide a firmer, more performance-focused suspension setup than the original Nissan suspension.

The increased spring rates help reduce excessive suspension movement during:

As with any performance suspension, increased spring rates will also result in a firmer ride compared with the factory suspension.

Rubber Front Top Mounts

The Rubber Mount option provides additional isolation between the suspension and chassis.

This is generally the better choice for customers who want a performance suspension setup while retaining a greater degree of refinement for regular road use.

Rubber mounting helps isolate some of the mechanical noise, vibration and harshness that can otherwise be transferred directly into the vehicle.

Camber Adjustable Front Top Mounts

The Camber Plate option provides additional front suspension geometry adjustment.

This allows the front camber to be fine-tuned as part of a professional wheel alignment, making it particularly useful for:

Camber plates provide a more direct suspension mounting arrangement than conventional rubber mounts and can therefore transmit additional noise, vibration and harshness into the cabin.

Which Front Mount Should I Choose?

For a predominantly road-driven K12 where comfort and refinement remain important:

Rubber Mounts are generally the better choice.

For a more performance-focused vehicle where additional geometry adjustment is desirable:

Camber Plates are generally the better choice.

Neither is universally "better". The correct option depends on how the vehicle will be used.

OEM Rear Mount Arrangement

The rear suspension is designed to reuse the original Nissan rear mounting arrangement.

The condition of the original rear mounting components should therefore be carefully inspected during installation.

Any worn, damaged or heavily corroded components should be replaced before the new suspension is installed.

Handling & Body Control

Replacing the original suspension with a performance coilover setup can provide a noticeably more controlled driving experience.

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, corrosion caused by environmental exposure or lack of maintenance, incorrect installation, accident or impact damage, excessive lowering, bottoming-out damage, damaged threads caused by incorrect adjustment, modification or failure caused by surrounding suspension components.

Rubber mounting components and other serviceable suspension components may be subject to normal deterioration through use and are not covered where wear is considered normal for the mileage and application.
