Venturi-Inspired Tapered Design

Rather than using a conventional intake tube with abrupt reductions in diameter, the internal profile of this intake gradually tapers from the large air filter towards the throttle-body inlet.

This provides a smooth transition through the intake system and avoids sudden changes in cross-sectional area that can create unnecessary turbulence and flow disruption.

As the available cross-sectional area reduces towards the throttle body, air velocity can increase accordingly.

The design is intended to provide a clean, direct airflow path into the engine while maintaining a large inlet area at the filter.

No Guaranteed Horsepower Figure

Actual performance will depend on the complete vehicle specification, including:

The intake should therefore be viewed as an airflow and induction-sound upgrade rather than a guaranteed horsepower increase.

Much Louder Induction Sound

Removing the enclosed factory airbox and replacing it with a large exposed performance filter substantially changes the acoustic character of the intake system.

Expect considerably more:

The difference becomes particularly noticeable at larger throttle openings and higher engine speeds.

SLS 3D-Printed PA12 Nylon Construction

The intake tube is manufactured using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) in PA12 nylon.

SLS manufacturing allows the complete tapered internal profile to be produced as a single purpose-designed component rather than fabricating the intake from multiple sections and reducers.

PA12 provides an excellent combination of:

Engine Compatibility

The kit is designed for Nissan Micra K11 models fitted with:

• Distributor / Dizzy CG Engines
• Coilpack CG Engines

As many K11s have now been engine, loom or ignition-system swapped, we recommend identifying the actual engine configuration rather than relying solely on the vehicle's registration year.

⚠️ Charcoal Canister Relocation Required

THE ORIGINAL CHARCOAL CANISTER OCCUPIES THE SAME AREA AS THE INTAKE.

The charcoal canister must therefore be relocated or removed to provide the required space for the Venturi intake.

This should be considered before ordering.

If the charcoal canister is being retained, the installer will need to provide a suitable alternative mounting location and ensure all associated hoses are correctly routed.

Removing or altering EVAP / charcoal-canister equipment may affect emissions compliance and road legality depending on the jurisdiction.

⚠️ Left-Hand-Drive Vehicles

FITMENT HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED ON LEFT-HAND-DRIVE K11s.

Differences in engine-bay component positioning between right-hand-drive and left-hand-drive vehicles may affect available clearance.

We therefore cannot currently guarantee fitment on LHD vehicles.

If you have a left-hand-drive K11, please check the available space carefully before ordering.

⚠️ ABS-Equipped Vehicles

FITMENT HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED ON K11s EQUIPPED WITH ABS.

The additional hydraulic components and pipework associated with the ABS system may affect available intake clearance.

Until physical fitment has been confirmed, compatibility with ABS-equipped vehicles should not be assumed.

During installation, check:

All intake connections should be securely clamped and checked for leaks before the vehicle is returned to use.

The installation should also be inspected again after an appropriate initial running period.

Air Filter Maintenance

The performance filter is a service component and should be inspected and maintained according to its condition and operating environment.

A dirty, damaged or incorrectly installed filter can restrict airflow or allow contamination into the engine.

Never operate the engine without a suitable air filter correctly fitted.

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover incorrect installation, physical damage, modification, use on an incompatible vehicle, inadequate filtration, contaminated or damaged air filters, incorrect EVAP / charcoal-canister modification, contact with surrounding components or failure caused by other vehicle systems.

The air filter is a service component and normal contamination or deterioration through use is not considered a manufacturing defect.
