Nissan Micra K11 Front Anti-Roll Bar Spacer Kit

A simple solution to a common problem on heavily lowered Nissan Micra K11s.

When the K11 is lowered, changes in suspension geometry can bring the front anti-roll bar into contact with the inner wheel arch/chassis area. This can result in rubbing, knocking, restricted movement and, if left unchecked, damage to the surrounding chassis.

Our 10mm Front Anti-Roll Bar Spacer Kit lowers the mounting position of the anti-roll bar, creating additional clearance between the bar and the vehicle.

As an added benefit, the extra space can also be particularly useful on K11s running larger-bore aftermarket exhaust systems, where clearance around the anti-roll bar can become limited.

Why Are They Needed?

The front anti-roll bar operates within a relatively confined area of the K11 chassis.

Once the vehicle is significantly lowered, the suspension and anti-roll bar can operate at different angles compared with the original factory ride height.

On some lowered K11s, this can result in the anti-roll bar contacting the surrounding inner wheel arch or chassis area.

Symptoms can include:

• Rubbing Marks
• Knocking
• Metallic Contact
• Restricted ARB Movement
• Damage to Paint or Underbody Protection
• Chassis Wear if Contact is Allowed to Continue

The spacer kit moves the anti-roll bar mounting position by 10mm, providing additional clearance.

10mm Spacer Blocks

The kit uses 10mm spacer blocks between the anti-roll bar mounting arrangement and the vehicle.

This small change in position can provide valuable additional clearance without requiring cutting or modification of the anti-roll bar itself.

Useful for Large-Bore Exhaust Systems

The K11's exhaust routing also passes through an area where available space can become limited, particularly when fitting a larger-diameter performance exhaust.

Increasing the clearance around the anti-roll bar can provide additional room for:

Actual exhaust clearance will depend on the individual exhaust system and how it has been manufactured and positioned.

The spacers cannot compensate for an incorrectly fabricated or poorly aligned exhaust system.

Not every lowered K11 will require an ARB spacer kit, as the amount of clearance available depends on ride height and the complete suspension setup.

If your anti-roll bar already has adequate clearance throughout its full operating range, spacers may not be necessary.

Spacing the anti-roll bar mounting points away from their original position requires appropriately sized replacement hardware.

The kit is therefore supplied with the correct hardware required for the 10mm spacer arrangement.

Installation

Installation involves lowering the mounting position of the front anti-roll bar using the supplied spacer blocks and replacement hardware.

Following installation, check:

• Anti-Roll Bar Clearance
• Inner Wheel Arch / Chassis Clearance
• Exhaust Clearance
• Drop-Link Position & Operating Angle
• Brake Hose Clearance
• Steering Clearance
• Suspension Clearance
• Fastener Torque

Clearance should be checked through the suspension's operating range and with the steering turned in both directions.

⚠️ Check Your Drop-Link Geometry

Repositioning the anti-roll bar also changes its position relative to the suspension and drop links.

On substantially lowered vehicles, adjustable anti-roll bar drop links may be beneficial to allow the ARB position and operating angle to be fine-tuned.

The objective should be to achieve suitable clearance and geometry rather than simply positioning the anti-roll bar as low as possible.

Not a Repair for Existing Chassis Damage

If the anti-roll bar has already been contacting the chassis, inspect the affected area before installing the spacer kit.

Any significant wear, cracking, deformation or corrosion should be properly assessed and repaired where necessary.

The spacer kit is designed to provide additional clearance and help prevent further contact. It does not repair damage that has already occurred.

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover incorrect installation, overtightening, damaged or corroded vehicle mounting points, impact damage, modification, incorrect suspension setup or damage resulting from surrounding suspension or exhaust components.
