Designed and manufactured by GizFab, our Nissan Micra K10 Front Engine Mount Bar is an uprated replacement for the original front engine mounting arrangement.

Designed with competition use in mind, the mount features a polyurethane-bushed construction to provide more positive control of engine movement compared with the original rubber mounting arrangement.

Uprated Front Engine Mounting

The original K10 engine mounting system uses rubber to isolate engine vibration from the vehicle's chassis.

While this is desirable for comfort and refinement in a standard road car, the movement permitted by the original mounting arrangement can become undesirable in a competition vehicle.

Our Front Engine Mount Bar uses a polyurethane-bushed mounting arrangement, reducing unwanted drivetrain movement while retaining some compliance compared with a completely solid engine mounting system.

Improved Drivetrain Control

Reducing excessive engine movement can provide a more consistent relationship between the engine, gearbox and chassis during:

• Hard Acceleration
• Deceleration
• Gear Changes
• Launches
• Rapid Direction Changes

This can provide a more positive and predictable drivetrain feel in competition use.

The mount does not increase engine horsepower. Instead, it reduces the amount of unwanted movement permitted by the original mounting arrangement.

Polyurethane Bushed

Polyurethane provides a useful compromise between the compliance of a conventional soft rubber engine mount and the extreme rigidity of a completely solid mounting arrangement.

The result is improved drivetrain control without completely removing all isolation between the engine and chassis.

However, customers should still expect an increase in Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) compared with the standard factory mounting arrangement.

This is a normal characteristic of an uprated engine mount and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

⚠️ FITTING HARDWARE NOT INCLUDED

NO FITTING HARDWARE IS SUPPLIED WITH THIS PRODUCT.

The installer will need to reuse suitable existing hardware or source appropriate replacement fasteners separately.

Any reused hardware should be carefully inspected for corrosion, damaged threads, stretching or other deterioration before installation.

Professional Installation Recommended

Engine mounting components should be installed by a suitably qualified professional.

The engine and gearbox must be adequately supported before removing the original mounting components.

Before installation, inspect the surrounding chassis and mounting points for corrosion, cracking, distortion or previous repairs.

All fasteners must be correctly tightened to the appropriate specification before the vehicle is used.

Motorsport & Competition Use

This component has been developed primarily for Autograss, motorsport and competition applications.

Uprated engine mounts can substantially increase vibration transmitted into the chassis and passenger compartment compared with the original factory mounting system.

12-Month Warranty*

This product is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from purchase.

Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at our discretion, where inspection confirms a manufacturing or material defect.

The warranty does not cover normal bush wear, cosmetic deterioration, incorrect installation, unsuitable fitting hardware, modification, accident or impact damage, misuse or damage resulting from defective or damaged surrounding chassis, engine or drivetrain components.

Increased noise, vibration and harshness associated with an uprated polyurethane engine mounting system are normal characteristics and are not considered manufacturing defects.
